Collage

For me as an artist in media, collage has been used primarily as a method of developing visual research and experimenting with a combination of ideas.

In this collage series however, I looked at the displacement caused by climate change, greatly inspired by Irish collage artist Seán Hillen, who explored ideas of location and trauma, themes which I deal with quite a lot in my work.
